Daşoğuz Solar Power Plant, which represents a sustainable transformation in Turkmenistan's energy sector, was implemented in 2022 under the leadership of Architect Metin Barut and under the contractorship of Çalık Enerji. This project, supported by the Ministry of Energy and Industry of Turkmenistan, aims to meet Turkmenistan's energy needs with the clean and renewable energy of the sun.
With a capacity of 10 MW, Daşoğuz Solar Power Plant is a critical step to strengthen Turkmenistan's energy independence and build an environmentally friendly energy future. The energy obtained through solar panels provides electricity production without causing environmental pollution and without consuming natural resources.
The power plant not only produces energy but also minimizes environmental impacts and contributes to local economic development. It contributes to the welfare of local communities by increasing employment in the region and providing technical knowledge transfer.
Shaped by the aesthetic understanding and functional design of architect Metin Barut, Daşoğuz Solar Power Plant is a turning point in Turkmenistan's energy sector. Leading the future illuminated by the power of the sun, this power plant sheds light on Turkmenistan's sustainable development goals.
